I taught Jr. High math at Treynor and coached all of the girls sports 7 – 12. We moved to Shenandoah, Iowa in 1981 and were co-owners of a local men’s clothing and sporting goods store.  We left the business and I worked at KMA radio until moving to Urbandale, IA where we both took up teaching again at Waukee Schools.  We are now both retired but enjoy substituting a bit.  I also announce football, volleyball and softball games throughout the year for the Waukee, Iowa school district. Pam and I have been married for 51 years and have two children and 5 grandchildren. Since retirement we have spent much of our time watching our grandkids in sports, music and drama. We enjoy going to Arizona in February and watching spring training while avoiding winter weather in central Iowa. The latest addition to our family is a cockapoo names Ozzie.
