After College I taught at Holy Name High School in Omaha, NE and directed the high school play. After marriage and moving to NYS I returned to College to earn my Master’s degree in Education from SUNY Plattsburgh; I substitute taught in various school districts in the Saratoga Springs, South Glens Falls, and Schuylerville schools primarily 7th-12th grade before moving into the business world. I have worked for several business companies including Quad/Graphics, based in Sussex, WI; Ayco, A Goldman Sachs Company and currently for Gracenote, A Nielsen Company in each of their Human Resources Departments.  In my spare time, I maintain an active participation in our area Community Theaters in the Glens Falls, Schuylerville and Saratoga Springs towns.  Recent on-stage roles were in The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Carousel, Little Shop of Horrors and behind the scenes in The Man Who Came to Dinner, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Arsenic and Old Lace.

Our Family

We reside in a country setting, just north of Saratoga Springs, NY in the town of Gansevoort, NY and have raised 3 wonderful adult children: our sons -Tim and Chris Colozza (twins) and daughter – Tori Colozza. They each have wonderful careers: Tim is a machinist and supervisor over the machine shop at Espey Manufacturing Co. located in Saratoga Springs, NY; Chris is the electrical design engineer for the Canadian based company - Bombardier Co. located on the former Air Force Base in Plattsburgh, NY and Tori is the front of the house supervisor and pastry and baking chef working for Spectrum Catering Company with Cirque du Soleil, music festivals and PGA golf tournaments traveling throughout the US and Canada with the artists, technicians, players and musicians in these venues.

Chris also has 3 lovely daughters (our granddaughters):  Olivia, is a recent  high school graduate and just started her freshman year at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY pursuing a degree in creative writing;  Mia, is a high school sophomore and Rosalia, is a high school freshman at AuSable Valley Central School. The girls have all been active in school sports, chorus and band and also perform in their school theater productions.     

As you can imagine we are very proud of all of our children and granddaughters’ accomplishments. We have been blessed with a wonderful family!
