Harold Nolan, Dr.

Dr. Harold J. Nolan, Jr.  nolanharold@yahoo.com

Graduated from JFK College in 1969.  In addition to his BA from Kennedy, he also holds an M.A, MBA and Ph.D.  degrees from various universities.  He served for 43 years in higher education, the last 30 years at Georgian Court University in New Jersey where he was a tenured full professor and Associate Dean in the School of Business, while Chairing both the marketing program and Director of the BS degree in Tourism, Hospitality & Recreation Management.

He also spent over thirty years working in the recreation, parks and tourism profession at the local, state and federal levels.  Retiring in June 2017, he still adjuncts as various universities and consults all over the world.

He has been married to Janet M. Nolan for 49 years, and they have four grown children and six grandchildren.  A competitive runner since high school, he has qualified for the U.S. Olympic

trials in track, set a masters U.S. record in the mile (4:15) for anyone over 40 in 1988, set a number of national and world age group records at various distances, and was inducted into the United States Track and Field Association Hall of Fame in 2017. He lives on the New Jersey coast, and his other hobbies include surfing, sailing and the restoration of antique trucks and tractors.
