attended JFK from 1967 to 1969. Kay came to Kennedy on an athletic scholarship for Track and Basketball.
She attended Bedford Community H.S in Bedford, Iowa where she established state records in 5 different track events during her career. She also played varsity basketball for four years at Bedford.
At JFK Kay was a member of both the Track and Women's Basketball team for two seasons
Kay married Brian Hill (JFK 69) and they moved to New Jersey where her husband was starting his teaching and coaching career in Piscataway,NJ.
In 1976 Kay was inducted into the Iowa Girls High School Athlic Union Hall of Fame as a member of its inaugural class. The Iowa Track Coaches Association inducted her into their Hall of Fame in 1996 and Kay was inducted into the Bedford H.S Hall of Fame in 2011.
Kay has been active as a chairperson for the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation along with various other charities throughout her life. She has also enjoyed being a competitive Tennis Player since picking up the sport in the mid eighties.
The Hill's reside in Orlando, Florida and have two children. Kimberly,49 and Christopher 46. They are also the proud grandparents of Hayes Hill age 21 months.
