JFK Class of 1969   Immediately after graduation from JFK Lynette enrolled at the University of Nebraska and received her K-12 Teachers Certificate.  She taught Art at St Paul Nebraska for three years. Lyn married Jan “Goldie” Goldberger 1971. They moved to Iowa so Jan could attend COMS. While in Des Moines she worked for J.C. Penny’s and the United Way of Greater Des Moines.  After Goldie’s graduation from the College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery they moved to Tucson where she worked for Tucson General Hospital while Jan Interned there. In 1977 they moved to Saginaw, Michigan and Jan joined his father’s medical practice. Goldie and Lynette have one son. Among Lynette’s activities since moving to Michigan are caring for a one-acre vegetable garden and raising chickens.  Her long list of volunteer activities includes co-chairing the Westside Saginaw Art Fair, Boys Scouts, and the Junior League of Saginaw. She served on the Swan Valley School Board, on the boards of the Saginaw County Osteopathic Auxiliary and the Advocates for the Michigan Osteopathic Association and 33 years as the Chief go-for and activities director for the Saginaw County Osteopathic Society. Lyn’s favorite current pastime is being the grandmother of two very active grandchildren and spending time with Jan at their cottage.
