Professor Lee Sutton 1916 - 1978

Homer Lee Sutton was born on September 24, 1916 in California. It was here he meet his future wife, Mildred. In 1954 he published a Young Adult science fiction book Venus Boy. Prior to JFK has on the faculty at Parsons College in Iowa. He came to JFK in September, 1967 to teach Humanities. Who can't forget how he could turn part of the package of cigarettes into an ash tray and smoke cigarette after cigarette during his lectures.  After JFK closed in 1975, the family returned to San Diego, CA. Lee Sutton died on September 21, 1978
