Prior to my retirement eleven years ago I had a twenty-year career with Valmont Industries as Director of Corporate Safety & Health. This work included coordination of loss control efforts for 35 sites in the U.S. and 21 sites in 12 countries.  Throughout this time, my wife of 45 years continued her career in nursing while being the main caregiver to our two children.  Retirement has been good for me.  Can't carve out enough time for reading, researching and keeping in contact with friends.  I think positively of the many memories of my time at JFK.  I am proud to be an alumnus of a school that served as a launching pad for some many wonderful careers."
